The 999l, which was the replacement for the older CHIEF equivalent of LIC99, will be no more from 31 January 2024. Used by Customs Brokers across the UK the code was (still is at the time of writing this) an almost universal waiver code for import declarations, used on ex-heading goods that may not have any licensing or documentary requirements.
There will be 10 codes now to replace the 999L code as listed below.
